A Shamanic Perspective of Disassociation (cont'd)

As long as an individual is severed in their soul healing into wholeness is simply not possible. Recovery can only be negotiated with the conscious parts of the traumatized individual. Healing modalities cannot access the disconnected parts of Self. Soul retrieval is the remedy for soul fragmentation and the missing link in complete recovery from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The goal of shamanic healing is reconciliation with Self, bridging the gap between the conscious and fragmented parts of our soul.
